What is Container Load Tool?
Container Load Tool is a browser-based planner for rectangular cargo. It helps exporters, warehouse teams and freight planners compare dimensions and quantities before preparing a loading operation.
What can I use it for?
Estimate how many identical cartons a container can hold, check an existing mixed order, inspect the 3D arrangement and export a plan. Enter a loaded pallet as one rectangular unit, including its base in the dimensions and weight. The tool does not arrange cartons on a pallet.
Who maintains the tool?
The Container Load Tool project team maintains this website, its calculation engine and its explanatory content. This describes the project maintainers; it does not identify a transport carrier, inspection body or professional certification.
How transparent is the calculation?
The method page explains the floor-partition and same-cargo vertical-stack heuristic. A separate validator checks geometry, support, permitted orientation, quantities and gross weight. The current search does not reuse space above a shorter stack for another cargo type, and it does not guarantee the best possible arrangement.
How can I record a problem?
The contact page provides a template for recording a reproducible calculation issue, a translation correction or an accessibility problem. Copy or save the description for your records. A public contact address is not yet available, and the page does not send a message.
